As part of a replacement, the Boréal site, located within the Biodistrict of Lyon Gerland, recruits a Head of Strategic Account Management Animal Health France (M/F) as permanent contract

 

THE POSITION

Attached to the Head of Animal Health Business France, you will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to the most strategic multi-species accounts (pets, livestock and equines) in a context of consolidation of the French and international veterinary market. 

You will be responsible for the negotiation process, management, objectives and trade marketing actions for the most strategic accounts, representing a significant part of the turnover of pets, ruminants and equines business units.

 

Tasks and responsibilities

To carry out your mission successfully, you will be required to:

  • Manage Strategic Account Management (SAM) team
  • Develop the long-term medium-term strategy for the management of these accounts: anticipate future needs and propose appropriate adaptations (pricing, commercial policy, etc.)
  • Supervise the negotiation process: implementation of methodology and processes, participate in negotiation processes in France, and possibly internationally
  • Oversee the deployment of trade marketing actions and budgets targeted at these strategic accounts
  • Implement the performance monitoring and control tools (KPIs, dashboard...) according to the new customer context
  • Ensure the sales, expenditure and profitability targets of these accounts for the different BUs in the financial projections and internal processes
  • Be part of the Executive Committee Commercial Operations (ComOps) Animal Health France and contribute to the development and implementation of the Group's strategy in France
  • Collaborate with the entire ComOps organization, participate actively in the Management Committee France, as well as with the Europe and Global teams for the management of international accounts
  • Know, apply and enforce Health, Safety and Environment guidelines, and contribute to the improvement of Boehringer Ingelheim's HSE policy

 

You carry out your activity within the framework of the missions of the company's veterinary pharmaceutical establishment as defined in the Public Health Code and the Good Veterinary Distribution Practices, to which you are trained. Under the authority of the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, you undertake in particular to respect the obligations of pharmacovigilance, quality and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

 

Requirements

You have a Senior Manager profile with proven experience in sales, negotiation and business management.

You have more than 2 years of experience in strategic account management and/or business management, and have managed a team for at least 5 years

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Attractive remuneration paid over 14 months with a participation and profit sharing agreement
  • 13 days RTT + 31 days CP pro rata to the time of presence
