SR Risk and Compliance Analyst (Third Party Risk)
The Position
Providing advanced guidance to stakeholders on Risk and Compliance with third party processes, ensuring consistent interpretation of requirements across regions and functions. Coordinating risk‑related activities across teams to ensure timely completion. Acting as a key point of contact for more complex or escalated cases, supporting stakeholders in understanding process requirements and next steps. Monitoring overall process performance, identifying recurring issues. Supporting risk mitigation activities by ensuring that mitigation steps are correctly understood, initiated, and tracked by responsible functions. Identifying system or process gaps and collaborating with Know Your Business Partner (KYBP) Experts to initiate change requests or enhancements. Ensuring documentation, guidelines, and training materials are aligned with current process. Facilitating communication between Risk Experts, Sourcing to ensure smooth process execution.
Tasks and responsibilities
1) Know Your Business Partner Advise (KYBP) :
- Advise Business Partners, Sourcing, Risk Experts on questions related to internal and external questionnaires.
- Log ad hoc tasks to ensure missing documentation/controls are delivered.
- Communicate directly with relevant business partners to elaborate specific cases and underlying importance of completing KYBP process from risk perspective, solving gaps, suggesting action plans content.
- Raise operational bottlenecks to KYBP Experts to discuss potential changes.
- Advise Risk Experts with process/questionnaires enhancements.
2) Systems Advice:
- Advising KYBP stakeholders (Sourcing, Risk Experts, Business Partners) on system usage: Completing questionnaires, submitting actions, ad hoc tasks, requesting access.
- Running training for new joiners and conducting QA sessions for KYBP stakeholders, preparing supportive guidance.
3) Quality Management:
- Ensure the process is conducted in line with process manual, procedures.
- Ensure tasks and tickets are closed within expected SLAs and quality.
- Conducting regular QA sessions for internal stakeholders engaged in the process.
- Create proper documentation, escalation path,and facilitate the governance meetings in the defined risk area.
- Mentor junior specialists and specialists and provide trainings in quality best practices.
- Collaborate with supervisor to ensure quality goals are met.
4) Know How Management & Training:
- Establish, maintain and improve corresponding manuals and desktop procedures according to learnings and business dynamics in alignment with the Legal & Compliance Services process management.
- Run trainings on relevant topics for defined audience groups.
- Create additional documentation for the stakeholders to share awareness based on their needs.
5) Service Intake & Service Metrics:
- Ensure process flow goes properly according to the design.
- Provide feedback to KYBP Experts/Manager in order to adjust the process to required needs important from operational and risk side.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as Risk or Compliance, Economics, Business Administration, Law.
- +4 years of experience with global stakeholders in English, experience with risk assessing in supply chain, specific risk areas, system used for identifying and tracking risks.
- Quality & Expertise: Knowledge of risk and compliance related topics, Knowledge and experience with the review correctness of the documentation. Precise and diligent working ethic.
- Business Solution Orientation: Strong service and business partner focus with an emphasis on risk adjusted efficiency of standard processing in a data- and system-driven environment.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and to develop and implement technology and data driven solutions for standardized services approaches.
- Smart Risk Taking: Ability to put a business context into a legal and compliance risk profiles and to make corresponding risk-adjusted decisions.
- Business fluency in the language of the country of deployment (Spanish and Portuguese), and fluent written and spoken English.
