Senior Source to Pay Process Specialist (Sourcing, Procurement, SAP Solution Design)
The position
Joining our company, you will gather an overview of the GBS Source to Pay (S2P) Enabling Services Organization with a particular focus on the tasks and responsibilities from Demand to Deploy, evaluating process & system change request, proposing solutions and taking the necessary steps to implement them to the template. You are working in a globally operating team that designs, builds and continuously improves Boehringer Ingelheim’s global Processes, using agile principles, methods and tools on a daily basis.
You will be qualified to contribute to a cross-functional team, and as an S2P Senior Process Specialist you will be able to coordinate and propose solutions within the Demand Management process, as well as actively take part of Change and Release Management for S2P.
Tasks & responsibilities
• As a Demand to Deploy S2P Senior Process Specialist, you work in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of our standardized processes in global projects.
• You manage the requests for process and system improvements and coordinate changes and demands, together with the respective Process Expert you work on analyzing and developing solution proposals.
• You ensure the compliance and validated state of our processes and systems.
• You are responsible for managing the execution and documentation of testing and training activities.
• Based on strong communication skills, you manage stakeholder interactions successfully and define the level of standardization for our processes and / or systems.
• You are familiar with agile methods and tools, participating in projects driven with this methodology.
• You are familiar with working in projects and being measured against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to strive for continuous improvement measures.
About our future employee
• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, IT or similar
• Work experience of at least 4 years with a profound knowledge in SAP Source to Pay relevant cloud and backend applications, such as Invoice Track and ARIBA, preferably for the pharmaceutical industry
• Ideally SAP functional experience specializing in design and/or configuration of SAP modules with the focus on Purchase Order Management, ARIBA Sourcing and Procurement
• Experience in at least some of the following: gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go-live support
• Good technical skills and technical affinity to systems like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA needed and SAP Solution Manager preferred
• Project Management experiences and / or consulting background preferred
• Experience with agile methods (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (e.g. JIRA) would be an advantage
• Strong analytical capabilities and proven problem-solving competence for complex challenges.
