Senior Order Management Specialist

Tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Order Management Specialist, you are responsible for:
- Analysis and solution of errors occurring in sales order entry interfaces, covering a full spectrum of errors, from routine to highly complex.
- Ensuring complete sales orders and billing process for live countries with high complexity in SAP through daily monitoring.
- Reviewing and handling correction of incomplete sales orders in alignment with local customer service and IT within service level agreements by correctingwrong data in the system, covering both routine and complex ones.
- Performing daily review of billing process in SAP and ensuring that all documents relevant and due for Billing are created and posted to accounting in a timely manner.
- Providing analysis and solutions of errors in sales order and billing process ranging from the routine to the most complex ones.
- Validating and approving rebate credit note requests.
- Performing month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Supporting deployment projects and post deployment phase activities by analyzing open gaps and supporting solution and realization processes.
- Acting as SME during internal and external audits in GBSC Order Management and preparing compliant process documentation.
- Preparing and performing training of GBS standard order management processes for live countries.
- Providing daily service to local customer service and finance organizations in global Boehringer Ingelheim internal environment.

You should speak English language (min. B2) and have 4 years or more of professional experience in a related area.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, accounting, or a related field.

- Knowledge of SAP SD.
- Very good knowledge of MS 365.
