Payroll and Time Specialist with German

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 18 months.
Tasks & responsibilities
As a Payroll and Time Specialist with German, you will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end transactional payroll and time management processes, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintaining employee data, processing tax-related matters, handling new hires and terminations, managing system interfaces, and auditing payroll and time management data to ensure accuracy and timely payroll execution.
- Creating time management reports, performing quality checks, and carrying out recurring annual time management activities (e.g., submitting holiday entitlement data).
- Responding to payroll and time management inquiries ranging from simple to highly complex via phone and email, using our case management system.
- Participating in projects and working in a target-driven environment where service quality is measured and continuously improved.
- Acting as the owner of at least one complex area of expertise (e.g., Time Management), collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders, and providing updates and training to the team.
About our future employee
You should speak German & English languages (min. B2) and have min. 2-3 years of experience in supporting employees/customers in Austrian Payroll & Time Management activities with the willingness to learn on the job.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Completed higher education preferably in HR field or related areas.
- Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, and service orientation.
- Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and participate in process optimization.
- Country-specific knowledge in Time Management.
- Proven ability to capture complex issues in a solution-oriented working style (e.g. in the HR 3-pilar-model).
- Preferably working experience in Process Transition & Transformation.
- Preferably working experience with SAP, Interflex, Workforce, ServiceNow, MS Office (advanced in Excel) and SuccessFactors.
