O2C Process Senior Specialist (Enabling Services)

Fixed-term contract until 31.12.2027

The Position

Joining our company, you will gather an overview of the GBS Order to Cash (O2C) Process Management Organization with a particular focus on the tasks and responsibilities within Enabling Services, evaluating process & system change request, proposing solutions and taking the necessary steps to implement them to the template. You are working in a globally operating team that designs, builds and continuously improves Boehringer Ingelheim’s global Processes, using agile principles, methods and tools on a daily basis.

Tasks & responsibilities

As an O2C Process Senior Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Working in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of our standardized processes in global projects.
  • Working on requests for process and system improvements, changes and demands, coordinating with the respective stakeholders for analyzing and developing solution proposals.
  • Participating in the SAP Releases, ensuring that all required tasks are performed in time and quality.
  • Ensuring the compliance and validated state of our processes and systems.
  • Managing the execution and documentation of testing and training activities.
  • Based on strong communication skills, managing stakeholder interactions successfully and defining the level of standardization for our processes and / or systems.
  • Being familiar with agile methods and tools, participating in projects driven with this methodology.
  • Being familiar with working in projects and being measured against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to strive for continuous improvement measures.

About our future employee

You should speak English level on C1 level and have at least 4 years work experience with a profound knowledge in Order to Cash relevant processes in SAP.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, IT or similar.
  • Ideally SAP functional experience specializing in design and/or configuration of SAP modules with the focus on Order Management, Accounts Receivable and Credit Management.
  • Experience in at least some of the following: gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.
  • Good technical skills and technical affinity to systems like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager needed.
  • Project Management experiences and / or consulting background preferred.
  • Experience with agile methods (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (e.g. JIRA) would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proven problem-solving competence for complex challenges.
  • Dedicated team player with good communication skills, and a structured way of working.
