Veeva Network is a cloud-based Master Data Management system that enables organizations to manage, cleanse, and synchronize customer data across various systems and analytics platforms according to a global standard.
As a Senior Process Specialist in the MDM area, you will provide services supporting our master data solutions. These solutions aim to establish a single source of truth, serving as the global data foundation for Boehringer Ingelheim.
You will be part of our core team, which drives the lifecycle of our solutions every day, including their maintenance and continuous improvement. In close collaboration with Product Owners, Validation Managers, and Developers, you will ensure that all requirements are implemented and delivered correctly.
The MDM Senior Process Specialist will be responsible for translating business needs into scalable Network MDM solutions by managing demand intake, aligning business and technical perspectives, ensuring readiness for delivery, and supporting successful releases and handovers to operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As a Senior Process Specialist, you will:
- Translate business requirements into solution concepts and user stories.
- Align solution designs with business and technical stakeholders.
- Identify and address business process challenges, cross-system dependencies, and technical constraints.
- Assess impacts on CRM systems, integrations, downstream systems, and related processes.
- Ensure demand readiness for approval and transition to the Product Owner for prioritization and development planning.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint preparation activities.
- Collect, analyze, and clarify business requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate demand intake and ensure business needs are properly documented.
- Ensure the completeness and quality of demands before solution design activities begin.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the product team.
- Prepare business test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and verify delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and coordinate the resolution of defects, ensuring solution quality and readiness for release in collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams.
Requirements
You should possess strong English language skills (minimum C1 level) and approximately 4-6 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), CRM, or business analysis.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- A completed bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in data or test management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams, including backlog management and sprint-based delivery.
- Strong requirements management skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and external partners.
- Proficiency in common business tools, including Microsoft Office and backlog/test management tools such as Jira.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a self-managed team, with strong intercultural awareness and a systematic, quality-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our headquarters in Ingelheim.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be considered an asset.
