Junior Supply Chain Specialist (Inventory Management)

The position

You will not only provide expertise in Supply Chain, but also take part in performance management and development of further innovative processes. Together with your team you will ensure a high-quality service delivery.  

Tasks & responsibilities 

  • As a Supply Chain (SC) Junior Specialist, you are responsible for the execution, compliance, and maintenance of SC processes and procedures as part of the GBS service portfolio. Coordinate with Global Process Owner, Local and Global Stakeholder SC related topics 
  • Additionally, you understand the global serialization, track & trace requirements including alert management 
  • You ensure continuous supply of end customers by managing/governing the end to end supply chain (from drug substance to finished product) within BI's system landscape
  • Ensure reliable and compliant global supply of animal health products to customers in line with customer service level targets.
  • Supports the execution of product re-supply in Global Replenishment Planning system (GRP) by balancing and reconciliation of the overall demand & supply situation, setting challenging but achievable inventory targets and managing the reallocations of whole product portfolios in BI's global network of internal and external suppliers without any supply interruptions. 
  • Responsible to report non-compliance events with regards to the Procedures assigned
  • Supports the process of effectively managed bottlenecks based on agreed priorities and execution/documentation
  • Ensure timely execution / implementation of assigned CAPA action
  • Based on strong communication skills, you manage stakeholder interactions successfully 
  • You are familiar with working in projects and being measured against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to strive for continuous improvement measures.

About our future employee

 You should speak English language min. on a B2 level and have min. 1 years of experience in Supply Chain, customer service, logistic and/or order processing in an international environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, in shared services, BPO or multinational company.
Additionally, we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics and/or Supply Chain Management 
  • Profound knowledge of Supply Chain regulations and their application 
  • Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with customer centricity 
  • Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and actively participate in process optimization 
  • Problem-solving skills and flexible work attitude 
  • High quality awareness, resilience, and independence considering changing requirements 
  • Good SAP know-how and working experience with the ERP system, preferably with SAP S4Hana 
  • Good customer-oriented presentation and communication skills 
  • Good knowledge in MS Office Tools and Power BI 
  • Ability to work in a diverse international environment.
