Junior Order Management Specialist
The position
Looking for a role where you will not only provide solutions in Order Management but also take part in process optimization and development of further innovative processes within the new GBS Centre? Join the Forecast-to-Cash department which supports local business entities in the end-to-end process from the creation of an order to the payment by the customer.
Tasks & responsibilities
As an Order Management Junior Specialist, you are responsible for:
- Analyzing and resolving errors occurring in sales order entry interfaces
- Reviewing and correcting incomplete sales orders in collaboration with local Customer Service and IT, in line with service level agreements
- Performing daily review of billing process in SAP and ensure that all documents relevant and due for billing are created and posted to accounting in a timely manner
- Providing analysis and solution of errors in sales order and billing process such as account determination errors
- Validating and approving rebate credit note requests
- Performing month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assisting with internal and external audits by preparing compliant process documentation within GBSC Order Management
- Providing daily support to Customer Service and Finance teams within the global Boehringer Ingelheim environment

You should speak English language (min. B2) and have strong analytical and communication skills.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Around 0–2 years of professional experience in a related area
- A strong team-player mindset
- Very good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
