Intercompany Accounting & Operative Treasury Team Manager

The position

Join our Operative Treasury & Intercompany Accounting team as part of the A2R Leadership Team, driving process excellence and empowering continuous team development in our GBS Center Wroclaw.

Tasks & responsibilities

As the Intercompany Accounting & Operative Treasury Team Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • delivering service of the team as well as the continuous improvement of all services offered following internal and external compliance regulations
  • managing a team and running and implementing all Intercompany Accounting & Operative Treasury processes for different European markets according to the company values as well as our Leadership principles with focus on customer experience excellence, business process excellence and people development
  • contributing to new deployments for all related systems, coordinating the handling and improvement of diverse ERP-systems and linked financial / bank tools
  • ensuring all internal and external compliance requirements are addressed in all managed treasure and intercompany processes
  • managing the front office function of the Operational Treasury in contact with the commercial banks (incl. the perception of the policy competence for the OPEs for treasury processes)
  • coordinating day -to-day activities and month end / year end activities within the scope of Intercompany Accounting & Operative Treasury, collaborating and increasing exchange with different stakeholders
  • diving deeply in processes to help improve them, properly assigning tasks, and defining actions for issue resolution regarding workload management and escalations, 
  • making regular exchange with our internal and external stakeholders as well as managing escalations using your strong communication skills, social and technical competencies
  • striving for splendid customer experience is also a key part of your role 
  • working on projects and in the environment where we are using targets to measure the service quality, ensuring process adherence in run mode 

About our future employee

You should speak English language min. on a C1 level. You have minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounting-to-Reporting / Record-to-Report within Shared Services environment, including 1–2 years of people management experience. 

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • A Master’s Degree in Finance and Accountancy or similar
  • Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with customer centricity
  • Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and actively participate in process optimization
  • Proven ability to capture complex issues in a solution-oriented working style
  • High quality awareness, resilience, and independence considering changing requirements
  • Excellent SAP know-how and working experience with the ERP system, preferably with SAP S4Hana
  • Excellent bank system know-how and working experience with the ERP system
  • Ability to work in a diverse international environment
