HR Direct Specialist with German

The position

This role is open due to our dynamic expansion and the creation of new opportunities within our GBS Center. As we expand our global footprint and take on ambitious HR projects we need passionate individuals like you to help shape it!

About our future employee

As an HR Direct Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • acting as the first point of contact by independently handling all incoming inquiries related to general and specific HR topics, as well as providing user support for HR systems,
  • driving a positive employee experience by advising employees, HR interfaces, and internal and external customers on HR-related topics—including complex cases—primarily via email and phone, using your German and English communication skills,
  • managing and administering HR processes while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations,
  • collaborating with HR Business Partners, other HR functions, and external stakeholders to optimize processes and contribute to service quality improvement projects,
  • maintaining and continuously expanding internal and external knowledge bases to enhance team efficiency,
  • owning one of a key competence area (e.g., Recruiting), including providing updates, conducting trainings, and sharing expertise within the HR Direct team,
  • working in a performance-driven environment where service quality is measured against defined targets to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

You should speak German (min. C1/B2) & English (min. B2) languages and have around over 2 years of professional experience in supporting employees/customers with their HR queries.

 

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Confident demeanor and well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
  • Completed higher education preferably in HR field or related areas.
  • Demonstrated strong empathy, teamwork skills, and a reliable, service-oriented work approach.
  • Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and participate in process optimization.
  • Proven ability to understand complex issues and processes, as well as independently work and prioritize within the assigned area.
  • Preferably working experience with SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, MS Office, ServiceNow and OpenText.
