HR Direct Specialist with German - Join Our Growing Team!

The position

Our company is on an exciting growth journey, rapidly expanding our teams and taking on innovative projects to elevate our HR services. We’re building a larger and stronger HR Direct team! 
This role is open due to our dynamic expansion and the creation of new opportunities within our GBS Center. As we expand our global footprint and take on ambitious HR projects, we need passionate individuals like you to help shape it!

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Be the First Point of Contact: As an HR Direct Specialist, you are responsible for independently handling all incoming inquiries related to general/specific HR topics as well as providing user support for HR systems. 
  • Drive Employee Experience: With your communicative skills in German and English, along with your professional and social competence, you ensure a positive customer experience when advising employees, HR interfaces, and other internal and external customers on HR-related topics, even those of high complexity—primarily via email and telephone.
  • Transition: As an HR Direct Specialist, you will participate in the last transition phase of HR Direct processes
  • Process Ownership: Manage and administer HR processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with HRBPs, other HR functions, and external stakeholders to optimize processes and contribute to projects that enhance service quality.
  • Build Knowledge: Maintain and expand our internal and external knowledge base to support team efficiency.
  • Lead a Competence Center: Take ownership one of a key area (e.g., Recruiting) and provide updates, training, and expertise to the HR Direct team.
  • Measure Success: Work in an environment where service quality is tracked through clear targets, ensuring continuous improvement.

About our future employee

You should speak German (min. C1/B2) & English (min. B2) languages and have around over 2 years of professional experience in supporting employees/customers with their HR queries.
 

Additionally, we are looking for:
 

  • Confident demeanor and well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
  • Completed higher education preferably in HR field or related areas
  • Demonstrated strong empathy, teamwork skills, and a reliable, service-oriented work approach
  • Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and participate in process optimization
  • Proven ability to understand complex issues and processes, as well as independently work and prioritize within the assigned area
  • Preferably working experience with SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, MS Office, ServiceNow and OpenText
  • A background in HR projects is considered as an advantage
