Tasks & responsibilities
As Data to Analytics Team Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leadership:
- Lead, coordinate, and empower a cross-functional team of data experts and analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Set clear team objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals; monitor team’s performance and conduct evaluations.
- Manage team development plans, including training and upskilling initiatives.
Technical Oversight:
- Establish Data To Analytics (D2A) Process and ensure smooth transition and service delivery by managing the team to prepare the go-live of potential new scope.
- Supervise the creation of actionable dashboards and reports that transform complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Strategic Alignment:
- Act as a bridge between raw data and strategic outcomes, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Understand the value the team brings to the organization and prioritize activities accordingly.
- Close collaboration with other Data2Analytics services teams in the other centers (Brazil, Malesia and Ingelheim).
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align technical workflows and reporting outputs with strategic business objectives.
- Handle escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Performance and Compliance:
- Ensure the delivery of services against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Administrative and Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Handle administrative responsibilities, including resource planning, budget management, and reporting.
- Manage team workload and ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks.
- Address ad hoc requests and challenges with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
About our future employee
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Master's degree, preferably in Business Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or similar.
- In-depth experience in building and leading a cross-functional team dealing multiple topics in different areas with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.
- Fluent in English (min. B2+).
- Experience in End-to-End process handling, stakeholder management.
- Dedicated team player with good communication skills, and a structured way of working.
- Agile, accountable, and entrepreneurial mindset with a dedicated solution and result orientation.
- Analytical capabilities and proven problem-solving competence for complex challenges.
- Experience with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and tools (e.g. JIRA) would be an advantage.
- Profound knowledge of Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Snowflake would be an advantage.
- Project Management experiences will be an advantage.
