Asset Accounting Team Manager

Join our Accounting-to-Reporting (A2R) Leadership Team in GBS Wrocław as Asset Accounting Team Manager, driving operational excellence, standardization, and innovation across global processes, while fostering a strong culture of development and continuous improvement.
Tasks & responsibilities
As Asset Accounting Team Manager, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring professional service delivery as well as the continuous improvement of all services while complying with internal and external regulations.
- Managing a team and overseeing the implementation of all Asset Accounting processes across various European markets in accordance with company values and Leadership principles, with a focus on customer experience excellence, business process excellence and people development.
- Ensuring that all internal and external compliance requirements are addressed in asset accounting process.
- Contributing to new system deployments and coordinating the handling and continuous improvement of various ERP systems and related financial and banking tools.
- Coordinating day-to-day activities and month end / year end activities within the scope of Asset Accounting, collaboration and increasing exchange with different stakeholders.
- Managing workload and escalations by deep diving into specific processes to identify improvements, effectively assigning tasks, and defining actions to resolve issues.
- Maintaining regular communication with internal and external stakeholders and managing escalations, leveraging strong communication, social, and technical skills to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Working on projects in a target-driven environment, where service quality is measured, while ensuring adherence to processes during operational (run) activities.
About our future employee
You should speak English language min. on a C1 level and have min. 5 years of professional experience in Accounting-to-Reporting / Record-to-Report or Shared Services environment.
Additionally, we are looking for:
- A Master’s Degree in Finance and Accountancy or similar.
- First experience in leading a team would be beneficial.
- Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with customer centricity.
- Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and actively participate in process optimization.
- Proven ability to capture complex issues in a solution-oriented working style.
- High quality awareness, resilience, and independence considering changing requirements.
- Excellent SAP know-how and working experience with the ERP system, preferably with SAP S4Hana.
- Excellent bank system know-how and working experience with the ERP system.
- Ability to work in a diverse international environment.
