The position
As a Business Unit Manager Companion Animals, you will be responsible for implementing, developing and executing the marketing &sales strategy in the vet, retail & e-commerce channels. You will manage the sales and marketing team, build relationships with key business partners and ensure the achievement of business goals and market share growth.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Co-creation and execution of marketing strategy & plans to support sales (including investment planning).
- Co-creation and implementation of the sales strategy in the vet, retail & e-commerce channel, execution of sales & marketing plans and monitoring of results.
- Management of a marketing, sales and technical teams with direct responsibility of the up to 30 employees.
- Analysis of sales data and recommendation of optimization actions.
- Collaboration with the regional marketing department on brand communication.
- Collaboration with regional stakeholders in areas such as business excellence, strategic account management.
- Monitoring of the effectiveness of marketing activities and reporting of results.
- Recruitment, development and motivation of the sales and marketing team.
- Setting of individual and team goals and evaluation of their achievement.
- Close collaboration with other company departments and participation in cross-functional projects.
About our future employee
- Higher education (preferably in the field of marketing, management).
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing of Veterinary, Pet Food, FMCG or OTC products.
- 3+ years of experience in team management, ideally with lead the leaders experience.
- Very good knowledge of the e-commerce market.
- Experience in conducting marketing campaigns (including digital, retail, e-commerce).
- Highly developed analytical thinking skills and ability to work with market data.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
