Regional Market Access and Healthcare Affairs Manager (m/f/d)

The position

As of now, we are seeking a Regional Market Access and Healthcare Affairs Manager to join our RCV Regional Central & Eastern Europe team, based in Vienna. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping market access and healthcare policy strategies across CEE markets, helping to enable sustainable patient access to innovative therapies. You will work at the interface of market access, policy shaping, and healthcare systems, collaborating closely with country teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Drive regional market access and healthcare affairs strategies across CEE markets in alignment with global and regional priorities
  • Lead cross-country initiatives to strengthen pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare policy shaping capabilities
  • Partner with local teams to support access strategies, HTA positioning, and stakeholder engagement
  • Analyze healthcare system dynamics, identify access barriers, and define actionable solutions
  • Contribute to regional planning, capability building, and best practice sharing across RCV markets

Requirements

  • University degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market access, healthcare affairs, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare policy environments
  • Experience in Central and Eastern European (CEE) markets is a strong asset; familiarity with regional healthcare systems preferred
  • Proven ability to work in a regional or cross-country environment, with strong stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills; able to translate complex system dynamics into actionable strategies with a strong ownership mindset focused on impact, collaboration, and execution

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 120.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
