Product Manager Rx Animal Health RCV (m/f/d) - 18-month fixed-term contract

The position

As of now, we are looking for a Product Manager Rx Animal Health RCV to take on the strategic and operational management of a prescription‑based companion animal portfolio within the Regional Center Vienna. In this regional role, you will be responsible for driving portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and successful product launches across multiple RCV markets, working closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Define and execute regional strategies for the Rx companion animal product portfolio in alignment with global and regional objectives
  • Lead lifecycle management activities, including product launches, line extensions, and strategic portfolio initiatives
  • Act as the key regional interface to Global Marketing, Medical/Technical, Regulatory, Commercial Excellence, and country Marketing teams
  • Translate scientifical content into effective regional marketing strategies and materials; analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and portfolio performance to support strategic decision making
  • Support country organizations with strategic guidance and tools to ensure compliant and effective local execution

Requirements

  • University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in product or portfolio management, preferably in Rx animal health or pharmaceuticals in regional or international matrix organizations with cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Rx market dynamics, lifecycle management, and regulated marketing environments; strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% within the RCV region and internationally to collaborate with country organizations and global stakeholders.
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 83.200 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
