Head of Commercial Excellence (m/f/d)
The position
Shape the future of Commercial Excellence for our Animal Health business in a high-impact leadership role based in Vienna. Starting in early 2027, you will lead a talented team and, with multi-country responsibility across a diverse, dynamic, and fast-growing region, turn data, digital capabilities, and commercial insight into strategies that accelerate sustainable growth. Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead and drive the Commercial Excellence strategy across Sales Force Effectiveness, Pricing, Forecasting, CRM, Data & Analytics, and Sales Channel Excellence to accelerate sustainable business growth.
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Commercial Excellence team while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Drive sales force optimization, customer engagement excellence, and commercial effectiveness initiatives to maximize market impact and customer value.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics, CRM platforms, forecasting capabilities, and digital tools to support business priorities.
- Lead cross-functional transformation and change initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, governance, and successful execution across regions and markets.
Requirements
- Experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Excellence, Marketing Excellence, Revenue Growth Management, Sales Channel Management, or related commercial leadership roles within an international environment.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to develop people, build capabilities, and foster a high-performance culture; experience leading through influence in a matrix organization across multiple markets is highly valued.
- A strong growth mindset, with the curiosity and ambition to continuously learn, challenge the status quo, and drive meaningful change.
- Strong affinity for data and analytics, with the ability to translate insights into business decisions, strategic recommendations, and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 120.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
