Global Supplier Quality Manager (m/f/d)

The position

Are you looking to grow your career in Quality Assurance within a cutting-edge pharmaceutical environment? We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Global Supplier Quality Manager to join our Global Quality Medicine Department in Vienna.
In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Boehringer Ingelheim’s development pipeline by managing the assigned supplier attributed GCP quality events, audit observations and related issues, amongst other tasks.

You will manage supplier-attributed Good Clinical Practice (GCP) quality events, audit observations, and related compliance issues. This role ensures that Boehringer Ingelheim’s suppliers meet regulatory and internal quality standards, supporting the company’s obligations as a clinical trial sponsor. Tasks & responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end management of supplier-attributed quality events, audit observations, and related issues.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of supplier-specific quality event metrics and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process optimization opportunities within Supplier Management.
  • Participate in trial team and supplier Quality-to-Quality (Q2Q) interactions, as well as cross-functional communications between Boehringer Ingelheim and suppliers, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in a life science or other business relevant discipline with several years of work experience
  • Experience in clinical quality assurance, GCP compliance, or supplier quality management.
  • Strong understanding of GCP regulations and international clinical trial standards.
  • Proven ability to manage external suppliers in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed organization.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 72.000 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
