Enterprise Resilience Manager (m/w/d)
The position
We are currently seeking an Enterprise Resilience Manager to join our Security & Crisis Management team. The primary focus of this role is to enhance Boehringer Ingelheim’s resilience through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management, Security Intelligence, and Security Risk Management programs. In this key position, you will contribute to protecting our people, business operations, assets, reputation, and environment while supporting legal entities across the Central Eastern European region in preparing for and responding to critical situations.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Crisis Management: facilitating all crisis management activities (methodology & decision-making) during crisis response, prepare and conduct annual crisis management trainings & exercises in the RCV region.
- Operational Business Continuity Management implementation at the Vienna site and in the RCV region.
- Security Intelligence: Identification of relevant security trends and deriving tangible business impacts for actioning.
- Support in implementing the upcoming Security Risk Management methodology at the Vienna site and in the RCV region.
- Collaboration with all business units and functions in RCV and external partners for regulatory purposes as well as with global security community to exchange information and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Security Management, Risk Management, Crisis Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, International Security Intelligence, Geo-politics or a comparable discipline)
- Experience in Crisis Management, risk management methodologies and relevant international standards (e.g., ISO 31000), as well as in the implementation of Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs in line with ISO 22301, ideally within a production environment.
- Intercultural and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the RCV region.
- Fluency in English and German.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 91.500 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
