Customer Insights Manager for EUCAN (m/f/d)
The position
Become a part of our established EUCAN (Europe and Canada) Center of Excellence for Understanding Market & Competition in Vienna! We are searching for a Customer Insights Manager, who will be responsible for collecting and analyzing insights to steer the Boehringer Ingelheim business.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Anticipate and Define Business Questions: Identify and address key business questions related to commercial success, offering tailored solutions to enhance business outcomes.
- Customer Insight Collection: Develop and implement strategies to gather customer insights across diverse groups (e.g., HCPs, patients, payors) within various therapeutic areas for current and future portfolios.
- Data Analysis for Customer Understanding: Investigate opportunities to integrate and analyze data from various market research sources, delivering holistic insights into customer behavior for enhanced customer experiences.
- Forecasting Process Leadership: Drive the forecasting process in collaboration with global, regional and country teams, employing methodologies such as patient-based and trend-based forecasting to inform business planning.
- Project Setup and Strategic Collaboration: Establish projects and processes with country teams to ensure timely collection and delivery of insights that meet business partner expectations; act as a strategic partner to brand teams across the EUCAN region, understanding brand strategy and potential value for both in-line and pipeline assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's level degree or higher with a strong academic understanding in fields such as Marketing, Economics, Life Sciences, Health Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology) is required. 7+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in Market Research in the Pharmaceutical or Health Care industry.
- Highly skilled in the use of relevant tools for primary (qualitative and quantitative) market research, data capturing, and analysis. Skilled and experienced in forecasting procedures and methodologies (e.g., patient-based forecasting, trend-based forecasting, other forecasting methodologies).
- Additional experience in Business Analysis or related areas in the Pharmaceutical industry is regarded as a plus.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities, frame business questions, contextualize the answers, and quantify market events/business decisions.
- Highly skilled in project management and budget management with excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in oral and written English being a must; German would be a plus, and any additional languages are an asset.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective bargaining agreement for this position is EUR 58.199,96 (full time). For the actual salary the industry benchmark as well as your qualifications and experiences are taken into consideration.
