SUPPLY PLANNER M/F

The Toulouse Industrial site (approximately 450 employees) producing Dry Forms, External Forms, and active ingredients, is recruiting a Supply Planner (M/F) on a permanent contract.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a reference to balance supply and demand while respecting the defined minimum/maximum stock objectives, in accordance with VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) responsibilities.
  • Responsible for evaluating MRP results and detailed production and short-term supply planning.
  • Assess capacity constraints of the assigned production unit to smooth the load and develop medium and long-term optimization strategies.
  • Achieve customer service, respect of requested Material Availability Dates, and order execution objectives.
  • Maintain stock objectives and reduce backorders and destruction risks.
  • Cooperate with other planners and various teams within Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.

To successfully carry out your mission, you will be required to:

  • Collaborate with planners, production managers, and the Global Supply Chain entity.
  • Ensure the quality of supply chain activities.
  • Participate in projects and propose improvements.
  • Be proactive in improving the site's competitiveness.
  • React and propose solutions in case of unforeseen events.

Required Education & Knowledge:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in a production environment (pharmaceutical industry would be a plus) including significant experience in Supply Chain.
  • APICS certification (CSCP and/or CPIM) would be a plus.
  • Understanding of inbound and outbound logistics flows (procurement, production, stock, planning).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (ideally SAP), MRP, planning tools, and the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Change management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Practical experience with production planning and inventory management processes and tools.
  • Experience working in an international organization and with cross-functional teams.
