The position:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be in charge of the Technical Data Department and will manage a team of 5/6 people.

You will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of data (item master, nomenclature, range, packaging instructions, validity rules) for products purchased and manufactured at the Toulouse site, for all business processes.

You'll have a direct impact on performance to serve our customers even better.

Duties and responsibilities:

 You will be responsible for:

Management:  You supervise the team of data managers

  (5/ 6 people)

- Provide support on complex files

- Coordinate and prioritize the team's activities.

- Guarantee the quality spirit of the service

- Promote and enforce the site's HSE policy within the team.

- Ensure employees' professional development

- Be a facilitator of “Our behaviors” on a daily basis.

Data governance: You are responsible for the data lifecycle, its lead time to availability, consistency, reliability and database optimization.

- Define robust processes and best practices for data management

- Write and maintain operational procedures

- Ensure effective communication with contributors to keep the data creation/maintenance flow moving.

- Implement continuous monitoring of data quality and availability to anticipate and resolve problems before they impact operations.

- Liaise with the site management controller during the budget period and throughout the year to justify variances.

- Ensure the proper use of SAP and MDG tools.

 

Project management: You support projects in taking data into account.

 

- Act as a link between project requirements, current procedures and system constraints. You make appropriate and effective proposals.

- Organize and manage solution implementation.

- Anticipate the impact and workload for the team.

- Ensure that project decisions are in line with data governance.

 

o Continuous improvement: You lead initiatives for effective data management.

- Regularly evaluate existing working methods and propose adaptations to optimize efficiency and added value.

- Express the need to upgrade SAP and MDG tools.

- Raise awareness among all site players of the challenges of a fair and reliable database in real time.

 

o Other tasks :

 

- Act as Logistics representative/manager for certain projects on site.

 

- Participate in the Logistics Department's PSQDC level 2.  Be a driving force in improving site performance and customer service levels.

 

- Contribute strongly to the continuous improvement of the Logistics Department's performance (not just its scope) in a cross-functional way.

 

Profile :

With a background in logistics, management control or data management, you have at least 8 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry.

Ideally familiar with SAP and MDG systems - parameter management

Knowledge of MRP calculation and its parameters in an industrial environment

Data extraction for analysis, EXCEL expertise,

Demonstrated ability to steer action plans and solve problems.

Abilities :  

Fluent English and good level of french

You are comfortable with project management and database handling.

You are able to understand the needs of internal customers and provide them with a comprehensive, yet detailed and reliable solution to ensure production success, while respecting regulatory compliance.

You have team management skills.

You can adapt quickly to change and solve problems proactively.

Working conditions  :

Salary paid over 14 months with a profit-sharing agreement. 

Working hours : Day

RTT days + 31 days of CP pro rata to time worked
