Sales Manager, Companion Animal
The Position
The Companion Animal Sales Manager is responsible for successfully leading the sales team to achieve our companion animal sales objectives. This is achieved through successful implementation of agreed strategies and plans, coaching and developing the sales representatives and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies, in line with business objectives. Collaborate with marketing and CE to develop strategies to drive market performance and grow market share.
- Lead sales team to maximize the people strength to fit the business need. Develop the required competence for sales rep. to retain talent and build up professional sales skill. Provide sales coaching in line with global model and manage low performance where required. Ensure team deliver SFE KPIs, Veeva data/call completion according to company requirementsLead a team of PM and capable of driving brand team collaboration.
- Optimize use of financial resources (commercial policy, promotional expenses) within approved limits to drive sales performance. Use analysis to determine allocation of expenses that delivers return on investment.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with all customers. Deal with customer complaints and problem solving to maintain these relationships to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform regular customer and market analysis, by customer category and channels, to drive business decision making, manage performance and deliver sales targets by territory and key customer.
- Complete the administrative requirements of the role, including monitoring customer collection and credit control, submit or maintain expense reports, sales daily reports, and customers call records to avoid the business risk.
Requirements
- University Degree at least, major in Life / Biological Sciences or Veterinarian Medicine is preferred.
- Min 7 Years’ Sales Experience with 5 years manager role
- Commercial awareness in Animal Health industry
- Strong persuasiveness and sales ability with sales analytical skills
- Customer-Focused and strong relationship building skills
- Good oral and written communication capability in English and Mandarin and fluently Taiwanese
- Leadership/ Team management skills
