(Associate) Pricing and Reimbursement Manager

The Position

The (Associate) Pricing and Reimbursement Manager will support the design, development, and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategies for all BI products to drive profitable growth. This role will work closely with stakeholders to improve price realization, tactics and to identify growth opportunities. 

 

Task & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement tangible Pricing and Reimbursement (P&R) strategies to ensure optimal and timely reimbursement, maximizing the commercial potential to both current and future marketed products.
  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of relevant P&R methodologies, gain stakeholders and payers’ insights and form a robust product value proposition
  • Demonstrate in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of healthcare system along with a solid knowledge of HTA practice.
  • Manage and maintain local and global databases relevant to P&R.
  • Oversee efficient and effective time-to-market, target reimbursement price and reimbursement criteria.
  • Monitor and analyze price adjustment rules and assess product pricing strategy during product life cycles.
  • Develop and ensure HEOR programs support the above strategies and engage stakeholders to facilitate product launch and access

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (or above) in pharmacy or healthcare related area with more than 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least two years experience of market access with a comprehensive understanding of the market access environment and the government/payer review process
  • Relevant experience with a proven track of success record in preparing and submitting pricing and reimbursement dossiers 
  • Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics, and interpret scientific data into strong and compelling value message
  • Ability to develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders and government officials
  • Experience in the field of outcomes research, HTA or health economics studies.
  • Action oriented, works efficiently, and constantly moving forward to achieve set goals.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and strong project management skills.
