(Associate) Disease Communications Manager
The Position
Develop a consistent, desirable brand message is conveyed through internal and external communications channels to align with company and marketing strategies. Implement brand communication strategies with media, the general public, and patient advocacy groups to generate that the disease remains top of mind. Maximize opportunities for developing relationships with key media to secure and grow positive media coverage for the brand.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Create communication strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions, with responsibility for budgets and timelines, strive to extend the market share of each brand.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that increase disease awareness, treatment literacy, and ensure consistent, impactful communications throughout all owned internal and external channels to strengthen reputation for our disease area.
- Evaluates, recommends and effectively executes communications plans and report findings and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with external key stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely dissemination of information.
- Work with different internal departments to generate new ideas and strategies for increasing disease or brand awareness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media to drive positive media coverage for disease.
- Responsible for brand crisis management to minimize the negative impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in public relations or communication major
- 5+ years working experience in healthcare, public relations or communications
- Expertise in communications consulting and project management
- Excellent writing, editing, communications, networking, and relationship building
- Proficient English Ability
- Have an excellent eye for detail and be creative
- Be able to work under pressure in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment
