Technical Services & Pharmacovigilance Veterinarian

The Position

 

A position has become available within our Veterinary Medical Services team for a Technical Services & Pharmacovigilance Veterinarian. The role will primarily involve supporting our technical enquiries and pharmacovigilance functions. Additionally, the role will involve participating in a cross-functional team to support a nominated category, such as a product, therapeutic area or our digital technical engagement program (Animal Health Academy). This is a full-time position based at our head office in Sydney, although remote working may be considered for the right candidate.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical support to veterinary professionals via our technical helpline related to our companion animal portfolio and associated categories
  • Provide end-to-end management of adverse event reports (pharmacovigilance), including customer communications, internal data entry and case assessment
  • Participate as a Technical Lead for a nominated category, such as a product, therapeutic area or our digital technical engagement program (Animal Health Academy) - collaborate with a cross functional team of internal stakeholders to assist with development of brand objectives, aligned technical plans and technical materials
  • Provide technical training and support to our Customer Care Team who manage enquiries from pet owners
  • Ensure compliance to ethical, professional and company standards.

 

Requirements

 

  • A degree in Veterinary Science suitable for registration in Australia
  • Clinical experience in small animal veterinary practice (min 3 years)
  • Previous experience in an animal health industry position or pharmacovigilance is highly desirable
  • Advanced communication skills with strong empathy and developed emotional resilience
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and superior organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Intermediate level of MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
