The Opportunity
Working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, you’ll lead the ANZ organization’s data strategy and analytics capability, enabling confident decisions that drive business growth and better patient outcomes.
We’ll create a positive impact together—with stories you’ll be proud to tell. As Team Lead – Data & Analytics, you will define and execute the data vision, champion advanced analytics and AI/ML, and deliver insights that empower strategic decisions across commercial, marketing, and medical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data and analytics vision aligned with business goals.
- Develop and implement data strategy, governance, and culture initiatives.
- Champion advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data science to generate business value.
- Oversee scalable data architecture and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and data stewards.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and insight-driven culture.
- Drive data literacy and insight-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Deliver dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics for senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner with finance, marketing, product, and IT to align analytics with strategic objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Manage data tools, platforms, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure high-quality data sources, models, and interpretations.
- Monitor and report on data performance and business value.
- Support governance and data ethics across analytics projects.
About You
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, insight-driven environment with a passion for data, analytics, and strategic thinking. You’ll have access to tools and teams that help you collaborate, innovate, and grow.
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
- 8–12 years’ experience in analytics, data science, or related roles
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with data governance, compliance, and ethical AI
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and change management
