Senior Brand Manager - Cardio, Renal, Metabolic - New Product Launch
The Opportunity
Join Boehringer Ingelheim at a pivotal moment to shape the future of obesity and metabolic health. This is a rare launch role, where you will play a key role in shaping the launch and commercialisation of Survodutide, a next-generation therapy with the potential to redefine patient outcomes.
Working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, you will lead end-to-end brand strategy for a pre-launch and launch asset, translating insight into action and building a focused market entry strategy in a competitive and rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities
Launch & Brand Strategy
- Lead development and execution of the end-to-end launch readiness (LR) for Survodutide in Australia
- Build and implement Integrated Customer Plans (ICP) aligned to pre-launch and launch milestones
- Develop segmentation, targeting and positioning strategies grounded in deep customer insight
- Define value proposition and messaging across obesity and metabolic health stakeholders
Commercial Planning & Performance
- Develop robust launch scenarios, and business cases (LR/ICP aligned)
- Monitor brand performance and optimise investment based on ROI and market dynamics
- Lead competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making in a fast-moving market
Cross-functional Leadership
- Act as the central connector across Medical, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory, and regional teams
- Lead agency partners to deliver best-in-class omnichannel campaigns
- Support field force readiness, including value communication and customer engagement frameworks
Execution Excellence
- Deliver high impact omnichannel campaigns, congress strategy, and customer engagement plans
- Ensure all activities meet compliance, governance, and quality standards
- Maintain strong operational discipline across budget, timelines, and delivery milestones
Your Profile
Experience & Capability
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical brand management, ideally with launch experience
- Experience in obesity, diabetes, or cardio-metabolic disease strongly preferred
- Proven success in pre-launch or launch environments, including market shaping
- Strong track record in strategic planning (ICP and launch readiness), forecasting, and performance delivery

- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into clear commercial action
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Experience leading complex, multi-channel marketing programs
