Principal Systems Engineer

The Position

We are looking for an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to join our IT team and play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing performance of Local Infrastructure Management in Australia and New Zealand. This role offers the opportunity to combine operational excellence, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and technology expertise within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.

Task and Responsibilities

  1. End-to-end accountability for all IT Infrastructure (INF) activities of Australia and New Zealand with effective stakeholder management.
  2. Lead the local implementation of global IT Infrastructure initiatives, including network, video conferencing, end-user device replacement; technology rollouts, and digital upskilling programs.
  3. Lead and support IT infrastructure setup for local business projects as required, including office renovation or relocation project.
  4. Drive operational and audit excellence across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring reliable service delivery, effective execution of IT infrastructure initiatives, and strong compliance.
  5. Deliver IT on-site support in Australia and oversee on-site support services in New Zealand, ensuring service performance and effectiveness through stakeholder feedback, supervisory evaluation, and IT incident management KPI reporting.

About Our Future Employee

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or IT related areas.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure operational support & service delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management Experience.
  • Strong knowledge in desktop support (laptop & ipad), Windows OS and Apple IOS.
  • Strong knowledge in IT Service Management and ITIL.
  • Excellent communication skill in English.
  • Excellent user engagement with strong user-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive and positive working attitude, with strong self-motivation, accountability, and commitment.
  • Fast learner, with a strong willingness to develop new skills and embrace new technologies.
  • Highly adaptable to change, including organizational, functional, and environmental changes.
  • Comfortable working effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel for business as required, typically 1-3 times per year.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional after-hours calls, typically 2-3 times per month.
  • Strong project management, planning, coordination and presentation skills.
