Integrated Learning Specialist - Human Pharma Sales, ANZ
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and forward‑thinking Integrated Learning Specialist, based in Sydney, to join our Human Pharma business and help shape the future of capability development across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening organisational capability by designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that elevate performance across diverse teams. You will champion a culture of continuous learning, ensuring employees at all levels are equipped with the skills, mindsets, and confidence needed to deliver meaningful value to customers, partners, and patients.
Working at the intersection of learning design, organisational effectiveness, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will help drive strategic capability initiatives that support business priorities, talent development, and long‑term growth.
Our Integrated Learning Team plays a critical role in enabling Boehringer Ingelheim’s mission to make lives healthier and happier. As part of this team, you will contribute to fostering a strong learning culture and embedding performance‑driven capability development across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, multi‑modal learning programs that build foundational and advanced capabilities across behavioural, functional, and leadership domains.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams — including medical, marketing, operations, regulatory, and field leadership — to ensure capability programs are accurate, relevant, compliant, and aligned to business strategy.
- Conduct capability and skills gap analyses using assessment tools, data insights, and stakeholder input, translating findings into targeted development interventions that lift organisational performance.
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify emerging capability needs and co‑create learning solutions that are practical, scalable, and performance‑led.
- Apply agile methodologies to rapidly design, test, and refine blended learning, digital experiences, and in‑the‑flow‑of‑work development opportunities.
- Monitor, measure, and report learning effectiveness using KPIs such as capability progression, business impact indicators, and stakeholder feedback.
- Continuously integrate insights and feedback to enhance the relevance, quality, and sustainability of organisational capability initiatives.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Coaching experience with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong time‑management capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience delivering CRM systems training.
- Familiarity with eLearning software.
