Tasks & Responsibilities
- Drive strategic communications across therapeutic areas including cardio-renal-metabolic, stroke, rare cancers, and lung disease—supporting market shaping, registration announcements, and product lifecycle management
- Deliver high-impact, creative communications for internal and external channels, balancing hands-on content creation with agency direction.
- Be the storyteller - showcase inspiring patient journeys and highlight incredible employee contributions.
- Develop and execute targeted digital campaigns that engage healthcare professionals and patient communities with measurable outcomes
- Skilfully manage media relations, be focused on the external environment and monitoring media for valuable insights and trends.
- Provide expert issues management for products, personnel, or reputation matters.
- Ensure all communications adhere to internal compliance standards and regulatory requirements, including the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical communications
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical product communications with broad scope
