Basic Purpose of the job

  • Effectively manage Replenishment Planning (RP) based on agreed forecasts by fostering strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Manage the cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning sales and operational activities to support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure sufficient level of inventory and manage overall efficient operations.
  • Drives continuous improvement in supply chain processes by challenging current workflows, adopting new technologies, and promoting agile practices.

 

Accountabilities

Demand Planning

  • Review forecast performance
  • Manage optimal level of inventory
  • Develop and execute Replenishment Planning (RP)

Related Performance Indicators

  • Identify risks to the demand plan by evaluating supply chain constraint                                                        
  • Assess risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies                                                        
  • Optimize parameters and manage data in various systems for RP                                                        
  • Ensure timely delivery of required products using the most efficient mode of transportation

 

Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP)
Manage cross-functional process by aligning on sales and operation activities to achieve organizational goals

Related Performance Indicators

  • Lead cross-functional monthly meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions and action items                                                      
  • Develop robust relationships with Marketing & Sales to support strategic and operational needs                                                        
  • Support annual target-setting process in collaboration with relevant stakeholders                                                        
  • Minimize inventory of expired or obsolete products through proactive planning and monitoring                                                        
  • Contribute to the enhancement of local S&OP process

 

Inventory management
Manage sufficient level of inventory through collaborative approach

  • Develop inventory projections and identify potential shortages and surpluses                                                        
  • Align inventory strategies with business units to ensure stock availability                                                        
  • Track KPIs to support optimal inventory level and effective use of warehouse space                                                        
  • Maintain customer service level

 

Local Projects
Engage in project activities and deliverables

  • Contribute to product launch/transfer projects
  • Lead or participate local projects in supply chain-related areas                                                        
  • Drive process improvement and operational excellence
