AH Controller | Staff | Finance AH Group, Finance Div

Purpose of the Role

  • Support/coordinate budgeting, financial reporting/analysis, propose productivity improvements.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Budget & Forecast: Develop and coordinate budgets, monitor changes, provide risk/opportunity analysis, pursue savings, ensure timely and clear reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide timely project financial analysis, highlight risks/opportunities.
  • Accounting Closing: Conduct monthly/yearly closings per German/Japan GAAP.
  • Compliance: Ensure statements comply with local/corporate guidelines, proper use of systems/software.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with business partners, ensure accountability for financial deviations.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in Finance (Controlling, Accounting, or Auditing)
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and controlling (university degree or relevant certificates)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Bilingual: Japanese (native) and English (business level)

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with financial reporting in multinational companies
  • Knowledge of German GAAP and/or Japanese GAAP
  • Experience with financial systems/software (SAP, etc.)
  • GenAI knowledge or experience applying AI tools in finance
