Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end oversight of China clinical programs and TA portfolio delivery, ensuring cross‑functional plans, milestones, risks and dependencies are proactively managed to deliver high‑quality outcomes on time.
  • Drive China integration strategy by ensuring China needs and inputs are seamlessly incorporated into global strategic and operational planning, including at key development milestones and through ongoing engagement.
  • Maintain disciplined local governance by coordinating TA portfolio and governance bodies, ensuring structured updates, decision documentation, and systematic follow‑up of actions to support governance readiness.
  • Monitor project progress and profiling; optimize/maintain project management systems, databases, documents and tools to ensure transparent, accurate, and up‑to‑date program/portfolio reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external regulations within scope

 

Job Requirements

  • Medical Doctor or Master Degree in pharmacology, biology, medicine or related fields; PhD or MBA preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech environment; experience in medicine, clinical development and/or portfolio/program management strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and portfolio mindset; able to prioritize and make decisions under ambiguity.
  • Excellent program/project management skills (workplan/critical path, risk/issue management, governance coordination, stakeholder management).
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing without authority; effective negotiation and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in an international, matrix environment; able to align stakeholders to one China position and drive execution.
  • High accountability, initiative and resilience; strong compliance and quality mindset.
