Job Responsibilities：
At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are building a next-generation IT landscape for Marketing & Sales in China, combining global platforms with strong local innovation capabilities.
We are looking for a Principal System Analyst who will take end-to-end ownership of architecture, integration, and system operations, and play a key role as Integration Lead to drive innovation and scalability.
- End-to-End System Ownership (Build & Run)
- Own the full lifecycle of IT systems: design → build → operate → optimize
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems in a fast-evolving environment
- Drive continuous improvement and system reliability
- Solution Design & Architecture Leadership
- Lead end-to-end solution design for complex Marketing & Sales platforms
- Define scalable, modular, and future-ready architectures
- Ensure alignment with global IT standards while supporting China-specific needs
- Integration Leadership (Integration Lead)
- Own and define integration strategy across systems and platforms
- Drive API-first, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures
- Ensure real-time data flows and seamless system interoperability
- Resolve complexity in multi-system, fast-growing IT landscapes
- Innovation, AI & Data Enablement
- Build and enable AI-driven and data-centric capabilities
- Support advanced analytics, automation, and next-generation digital use cases
- Drive adoption of modern technologies (cloud, data platforms, integration layers)
- Delivery Excellence in Complex Environments
- Lead implementation of large-scale, cross-system solutions
- Coordinate with global teams, local stakeholders, and vendors
- Ensure quality delivery, speed, and scalability in execution
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in system analysis, architecture, and integration
- Solid skills of Java or Python and Database technologies
- Deep expertise in APIs, system integration, and modern architectures
- Experience with cloud, data platforms, and distributed systems
- Exposure to AI, analytics, or digital innovation use cases
- Ability to take full ownership (build + run) and drive technical decisions
- Familiarity with modern data stack, such as Snowflake, Kafka and Snaplogic
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a strong plus
- Experience in the highly dynamic China environment, regulated environments preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred, especially candidates with hands-on experience in the Veeva ecosystem (Veeva CRM, Veeva Engage, Vault, Network)
