Head of IT Marketing & Sales
Role Purpose
As Head of IT Marketing & Sales TCM, you will be a strategic change leader and transformation architect at the heart of one of the company’s most critical growth markets. Your mission is not just to support the business, but to actively shape how Marketing & Sales win in TCM by translating bold commercial ambitions into a resilient, scalable, and future‑ready IT architecture.
This role is acting as the trusted advisor and challenger to local senior leadership. You will operate with a strong mandate to influence direction, set standards, and drive outcomes—while orchestrating close, hands‑on collaboration with global IT teams across regions and domains. In a fast‑moving, highly regulated, and competitive environment, you will define the blueprint for commercial IT excellence in TCM and turn strategy into measurable impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership
Act as the trusted IT partner for Marketing & Sales in TCM, translating business strategies and market-specific needs into scalable, future-proof IT solutions.
- End-to-End IT Accountability
Take full accountability for the end-to-end management of the IT Marketing & Sales function in TCM, covering solution design, architecture, delivery, and lifecycle management.
- IT Architecture & Solution Design
Ensure that the IT architecture fully supports TCM -specific Marketing & Sales requirements while remaining aligned with global IT frameworks, platforms, and governance.
- Stakeholder Management & Leadership
Serve as the main IT point of contact for local senior stakeholders, representing IT Marketing & Sales with credibility, clarity, and strategic foresight.
- Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work in close partnership with international IT teams across multiple domains to ensure seamless integration and global alignment.
- Program & Project Management
Lead and oversee global and regional programs and projects, managing (virtual) teams and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Demand & Portfolio Management
Act as the interface between business and IT delivery teams, shaping demand, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring value-driven execution.
- People & Leadership Responsibility
Own full people management responsibility for the IT Marketing & Sales TCM domain, including team leadership, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and the continuous development of a high‑performing, future‑ready organization.
- Financial & Budget Responsibility
Hold financial accountability for the IT Marketing & Sales TCM portfolio, including investment planning, prioritization of initiatives, and ensuring transparent, value‑driven use of resources aligned with business strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in planning and delivering complex IT projects and programs with broad, in-depth technical expertise across IT disciplines.
- 1–3 years of experience leading teams and/or complex projects in an international environment.
- Strong experience in IT Security, Data Privacy, Cloud technologies, Data Science, Computer System Validation, and mobile applications.
- Solid knowledge of relevant Chinese regulatory requirements (e.g. CNDA) within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare or life-science IT strategies, technology trends, and digital ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- People & Leadership Management - Proven experience in leading, developing, and inspiring teams, including responsibility for people management, talent development, performance management, and succession planning in an international environment.
- Financial & Budget Responsibility - Experience owning and managing budgets, cost structures, and investment planning, with a strong sense for value creation, transparency, and financial accountability.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop people and teams in complex, multicultural environments.
- Experience managing external vendors and partners (e.g. IT vendors, platform providers, service providers).
- Strong intercultural competence and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
- Language requirements:
- Professional-level English (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Mandarin Chinese – preferred (at least basic working proficiency)
