Job Responsibilities
- Leads the development and deliver comprehensive, global-aligned strategic publication plan for responsible therapeutic area or products to ensure the timely disclosure and communication of all Boehringer Ingelheim China sponsored studies in peer reviewed journals and scientific congress
- Identify scientific and clinical needs for additional publication plans through publication gap analysis and provide strategic input to medical strategy in terms of publication perspective
- Support the development of high quality medical publications including congress abstracts, presentations and manuscripts and ensure all publication activities would be executed in a timely, transparent and ethical manner and in compliance with company SOP, industry publication regulations and guidelines
Job Requirements
- Advanced clinical/science degree is preferred (e.g. M.D., Ph.D.)
- Experience in medical writing and relevant industry work; experience in medical communications is preferred
- Learning Agility
- Experience leading authors and medical writers in planning, developing, and submitting manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed medical journals and abstracts to scientific congresses
- Work experience in medical publication or medical writing or medical communications or relevant industry work experience is preferred
- Understanding of good publication practice, ICMJE guidelines, and other guidance related to scientific data communication
- Understanding of clinical trial design and execution, statistical methods and clinical trial data reporting requirements
- Experience working in highly matrix environment across a broad rand of function areas
- Strong management and leadership skills
