Medical Advisor, Stroke (Contractor)

THE POSITION

This position serves as an Individual Contributor within the medical affairs team focused on Acute Ischemic Stroke and supports the preparation for launch of new product. Develop and execute focused Medico-Marketing strategies for Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) Stroke products in S. Korea to meet short-term Integrated Brand Plan objectives. Collaborate across functions (Medico-Marketing-Sales) to deliver scientific guidance and valuable clinical information. Ensure appropriate patient targeting to maximize product benefits and drive business results for the Stroke portfolio. 

Duties & Responsibilities

·       Develop and execute medical strategies.

·       Responsible to plan and execute medical affairs activities, including data generation.

·       Responsible for scientific communication (content and execution) to both internal and external

·       Explore ways to improve advocacy and engagement level of External Expert

·       Work cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or PhD in Sciences is preferred
• Clinical experience in treating Stroke treatment or >2 years experiences in pharmaceutical company, especially in medical affairs
• Experience in Cerebrovascular disease is preferred
• Scientific Knowledge
• Good understanding on life cycle of the product from pre-clinical to clinical.
• Good interpretation of the scientific data
• Experienced in project participation 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency for English in professional level and fluent in Korean are required.
