We are looking for enthusiastic young individuals eager to learn and contribute to our mission of improving the lives of present and future generations through their internships with us in the following area:
SAP CONCUR TRAVEL & EXPENSES SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT
For this internship you will support the team by getting view on the most relevant travel and expense processes in Boehringer as well as a comprehensive understanding of the interfaces used, support on efficient documentation of interfaces between Concur and other systems. This role involves collaborating with various business and IT departments, including the SAP PO development team.
What will your day-to-day be like?
As an intern, you will:
- Learn and understand processes and IT Systems used: gain a thorough understanding of concur processes, its IT architecture, and its interfaces, including their functionalities and integrations.
- Support in handling and processing requests for modifications to the interfaces, ensuring they meet the department's requirements.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for interface processes, modifications, and troubleshooting steps from an IT perspective.
- Contribute to develop a working knowledge of SAP Process Orchestration and how it is used to manage and integrate the interfaces.
- Learn how IT supports interface-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operation and integration of interfaces.
- Support in managing small projects related to interface modifications and improvements, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP and Concur technologies and best practices.
What type of profile are we looking for?
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SAP and Concur systems is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- High level of English.
- It is essential to be able to establish an internship agreement with the University or educational institution.
- Availability to start the internship from April 25th for a duration of up to 12 months.
