At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, aimed at individuals with enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations.
As a Service Success Coordination, you will learn how the operational success and quality of IT services supporting our business. You will help during the coordination between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, ensuring services run smoothly, issues are resolved effectively, and continuous improvement is embedded in everything we do.
The IT department ensures that all teams across the company have the technological tools, systems, and support they need to work efficiently and securely. As part of our digital evolution, the team is increasingly incorporating Artificial Intelligence to streamline internal processes, improve productivity, and enhance the user experience. During your internship, you will learn how to support daily operations, explore opportunities to automate simple tasks, and help the team adopt new technologies. You will collaborate closely with IT professionals who will guide you throughout your learning journey, giving you a practical understanding in a corporate environment.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- You will contribute to the end‑to‑end support of assigned IT services or applications during the operational (RUN) phase.
- You will in handling service‑related issues by helping coordinate escalations and supporting timely, effective resolution.
- You will contribute to monitoring service performance against agreed targets and support corrective or improvement actions.
- You will collaborate with internal IT teams and external service providers to help deliver high‑quality support.
- You will learn how to assist in building trusted relationships with business stakeholders and in understanding their needs and priorities.
- You will contribute to service governance activities such as operational reviews or service meetings, mainly through preparation, follow‑up, and documentation.
- You will support the identification of recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will assist in service transitions, onboarding activities, and hypercare phases when new services go live.
- You will collaborate in identifying processes that could benefit from AI, exploring new features, and proposing improvement ideas.
What kind of profile are we looking for?
- Education: Student in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Data Science or related fields.
- Technical Skills: General familiarity with AI tools or concepts (even from personal use), Service Now and ITIL processes (not essential).
- Competencies: Genuine interest in technology, AI, and digital innovation. Good communication and team collaboration skills. Organized, proactive, and eager to explore new tools. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Languages: Advanced level of English.
- Availability: Start date Abril 24th, 2026, with the possibility to sign a university internship agreement for approximately 12 months.
