If you are in your final year of your University Degree or pursuing a Master's/Postgraduate in areas such as Health Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Communication, Information Technology, or similar, and you are interested in starting your internship in April 2026, this is your opportunity!
At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, aimed at individuals with enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations.
Power BI is the most widely used Data Analytics tool in the company, and the number of users keeps growing. The Power BI Administration team is responsible for managing the tool within Boehringer and ensuring its usage complies with company guidelines.
You will learn how to use one of the trendiest tools in the Data Analytics world, test the generative AI capabilities built into the platform, and explore the integration of Power BI with other AI tools available at Boehringer.
You will have the opportunity to speak with users located around the world, learn how they create their reports, understand their needs and concerns, and help them find solutions that make their work more productive.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- You will provide support to the Power BI administration team.
- You will help Power BI users with development-related issues.
- You will learn how to test and challenge the AI tools available at Boehringer.
- You will meet Power BI users from all over the world.
- You will be part of an international team distributed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
- You will learn how to use the latest data analytics technologies.
- You will learn how to write user-facing emails and develop a usercentric mindset.
What kind of profile are we looking for?
- Education: Student in Computer Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Business Administration/Economics or related fields.
- Technical Skills: General familiarity with data analysis and programming. Knowledge of databases and Power BI will be positively valued. High level of Excel (pivot tables, filters).
- Competencies: Genuine interest in technology, AI, and digital innovation. Good communication and team collaborationskills. Organized, proactive, and eager to explore new tools. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges. Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Languages: Advanced level of English and Spanish. Strong plus: German, French or Catalan.
- Availability: Start date Abril 24th, 2026, with the possibility to sign a university internship agreement for approximately 12 months.
