As Product Owner for Global Identity & Account Lifecycle Management at Boehringer Ingelheim, you will drive the strategic evolution and operational excellence of our global identity management services. Your mission is to deliver secure, efficient, reliable, and compliant identity and account lifecycle processes that empower our global workforce.
In this role, you will collaborate with international stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and design user-centric, end-to-end solutions that enhance usability and functionality. You will lead global, cross-functional projects that deliver impactful outcomes, supported by targeted communication and effective change management strategies.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Product Ownership: Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and backlog
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global business units, IT security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and align priorities
- Project Management: Lead global, cross functional projects to share the future of Identity & Account Management
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure solutions meet internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, GxP), and industry standards
- Innovation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve automation, user experience, and system integration across platforms (e.g., SAP, Azure AD, ServiceNow)
- Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate with external partners and vendors to deliver and support identity solutions.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs and ensure transparency on product performance, adoption, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or comparable experience.
- Several years’ experience in Project Management (Scrum, Stakeholder Management, Demand Management).
- Strong knowledge of Identity & Account Management technology.
- ITIL Knowledge e.g., change and incident management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Good presentation skills on management level.
- Excellent problem-analyzing skills and attention to detail.
- A strong understanding of compliance standards and regulations within GxP environments.
- Advanced level of English language.
