Global Svcs Coordinator, Events Mgmt

The CXE Global Events Management Coordinator ("EMC") is responsible for ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of virtual events setup, associated communication campaigns, and other complementary tasks, using his/her own subject matter expertise of virtual events administration and management, digital marketing, marketing automation, and services delivery to provide guidance and direction to his/her coordination scope group. The EMC is the point of escalation for the group's internal customers on topics such as virtual event management challenges, hosting platform enhancement requests, new capability ideas, special projects, and delivery questions & concerns related to his/her scope group.


Functions and Responsibilities:

•    Ensure on-time and high-quality end-to-end delivery of virtual events setup and execution, associated communication campaigns, and other complementary tasks across their scope group, by coordinating operational tasks and making sure the group is delivering according to expectations.
 •    Use subject matter expertise of virtual events (administration, management, best practices, troubleshooting, communications, etc.) and service delivery to provide guidance, direction, and decision-making to their group.
 •    Act as a point of escalation for BI’s events owners before, during, and after the execution of a virtual event.
 •    Monitor workload (including the events calendar and resource allocations to events) and assess current & future needs across their group, to anticipate, raise, and address any gaps and roadblocks proactively and effectively.
 •    Enforce adherence to processes & SLAs by both coordination group and internal customers, and define new processes and find service-oriented solutions when needed.
 •    Work with our team and cross-functionally to help streamline, optimize, & share documentation, processes, knowledge, and new service ideas.


Profile & Requirements:

•    Proven experience with coordinating the operational tasks and workload of a group - either through direct or lateral leadership - and ability to communicate with and connect different personalities and profiles
 •    3+ years of events management experience (preferably, virtual events) and working with event owners - demonstrated expertise of virtual events platforms and tools, events concepts and best practices - hands-on admin SpotMe and Zoom experience is preferred, or experience in similar virtual events management tools is required
 •    Marketing automation experience - demonstrated expertise of marketing automation tools, digital marketing concepts, digital channel (ex. email) best practices, and database concepts - Adobe Campaign Classic experience is preferred (Business Practitioner certification is a plus), or experience in similar marketing automation tools is required
 •    The global nature of this job requires being fluent in English - this job will be 100% in English
 •    Extensive experience using subject matter expertise to provide guidance, share knowledge, and define processes
 •    Ability to build and maintain meaningful & trusted relationships with others, to balance acting as a solutions-oriented point of contact for internal customers and as a peer exemplar for teammates; experience de-escalating incidents that impact customers
 •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills - customer-oriented, but impactful and trustworthy way
 •    Previous experience with project management - strong project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload efficiently and to manage multiple projects & deadlines simultaneously
 •    Self-motivated, self-starter, and quick learner – ability to dive deep into projects and problems without much guidance or direction from others
 •    Solutions-oriented and dynamic mindset - ability to think critically and find creative solutions when faced with complex & ambiguous scenarios and issues
