Senior Financial Accountant

Tasks and responsabilities:

• You will prepare the annual financial statements of Boehringer Ingelheim S.A., ensuring a fair presentation of the company’s equity, financial position, and results, in accordance with both German GAAP (Group Accounting Principles) and local Spanish GAAP (PGC) by actively participating in monthly and annual accounting closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• You will be a key support in financial, tax, and legal decision-making processes, working closely with other departments.
• You will manage provisions in coordination with the Controlling area and perform analytical reviews.
• You will lead the coordination of external financial audits, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all required information.

Requirements :

• Degree in Finance and Accounting, or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in accounting management).
• Experience in tax matters, especially corporate income tax and transfer pricing.
• Ability to work in complex and changing environments, providing solutions and improving processes.
• Advanced English level to collaborate with global teams.
• Expert user of SAP-Finance and Microsoft tools (Excel, Planner, PowerPoint).
