AI Product Owner

You will lead the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for our AI-driven Security Automation portfolio, focusing on expanding its capabilities with Applied AI/Data Science use cases. Your role will emphasize leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and measurable outcomes across workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address pain points and deliver impactful solutions such as reducing manual effort, optimizing workflows, and improving overall operational quality.

This role also drives the evolution towards an AI-powered automation model, emphasizing human-in-the-loop decision-making, policy-driven guardrails, and continuous evaluation. Your focus will be on building trustworthy, transparent, and scalable AI product capabilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy: define the vision and portfolio-level OKRs for AI-driven automation and Applied AI use cases; align product strategy with efficiency, quality, and measurable operational goals.
  • Shape and prioritize the roadmap and backlog across AI automation, data science use cases, and integration workflows.
  • Drive outcomes over outputs: set measurable KPIs (e.g., automation coverage, false-positive reduction, model precision/recall, cost per execution) and run quarterly reviews to assess impact.
  • Lead delivery at scale: run planning cadences (PI/QBR, sprint planning, reviews, retros), define Definition of Ready/Done, and ensure quality gates and release criteria; remove impediments and ensure timely delivery of AI features.
  • Architecture & standards ownership: set product-level guidelines for AI reliability, transparency, observability, and ethical AI practices; publish reusable patterns and reference designs for AI integration into automation workflows.
  • Change management & enablement: champion adoption of AI-driven solutions through documentation, runbooks, training, and internal marketing; measure usage, satisfaction, and operational impact of AI capabilities.
  • Team leadership: mentor and grow engineers, analysts, and data scientists; foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement; influence hiring and establish ways of working that align with AI product development best practices.
  • Risk & compliance: ensure data governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices in alignment with organizational standards; collaborate with GRC teams to ensure auditability and compliance of AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven features and automation solutions.
  • 5+ years in IT/Product Management with 2+ years focused on AI product ownership or technical program management.
  • Hands-on experience shaping AI use cases and partnering with data teams on NLP, anomaly detection, classification, risk scoring, and predictive analytics.
  • Strong grasp of AI evaluation metrics (precision/recall/F1), drift management, model monitoring, and MLOps (e.g., Azure ML/Databricks/Synapse).
  • Solid technical fluency: Python, APIs/REST, JSON, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
  • Proven success in delivering AI solutions that reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Metrics-driven decision-making with a focus on automation rate, model performance, and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams, including leadership, engineering, and operations; ability to translate AI requirements into actionable product strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LLM safety and guardrails (e.g., prompt security, grounded generation/RAG over runbooks and KBs, data privacy/PII).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud automation tools (Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Automation Accounts) and ServiceNow integration.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and Zero Trust patterns.
