Vos principales missions pourront inclure :

  • La préparation et la manipulation de cellules mononucléées du sang périphérique (PBMCs) ;
  • Le développement et l’optimisation de panels de cytométrie en flux multiparamétrique ;
  • La détermination des titres d’anticorps neutralisants à l’aide de tests de séroneutralisation virale (VNT) ;
  • La mesure des réponses cytokiniques par ELISA ou par tests multiplex de type Luminex ;
  • Le suivi de l’infection et de l’excrétion virale par réaction de polymérisation en chaîne quantitative (qPCR) ;
  • L’analyse statistique, l’interprétation et la présentation des résultats ;

As part of this internship, you will participate in the development and optimization of immunological and virological techniques, including multiparametric flow cytometry for the phenotypic and functional characterization of immune cells, virus neutralization tests (VNTs), and cytokine quantification using ELISA and multiplex assays.

Your main activities may include:

  • Preparing and handling peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs);
  • Developing and optimizing multiparametric flow cytometry panels;
  • Determining neutralizing antibody titers using virus neutralization tests (VNTs);
  • Measuring cytokine responses using ELISA or Luminex multiplex assays;
  • Monitoring infection and viral shedding through quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR);
  • Performing statistical analyses and interpreting and presenting experimental results;
  • Recording experimental procedures and results in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).

The exact experimental activities will be defined according to the team's priorities and the selected candidate's background and interests.

Candidate profile

You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (MSc, Master 2) or an Engineering degree in Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Vaccinology, or a related scientific field, and are looking for a final-year internship.

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, enabling effective interaction in an international and professional environment (daily use of English required);
