The Specialist, CAD prepares routine drafting projects such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches. This role keeps the company layouts accurate for overall compliance and ensure up to date and consistent systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares routine drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches.
- Works with supervisor to establish and adhere to site CAD & documentation standards.
- Works closely & consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.
- Continuous auditing, investigating current company designs for accuracy & correcting inaccuracies.
- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and create various drawings while monitoring for the best possible usage of space.
- Maintains the engineering website and database for facility drawings.
- Accurately maintains people location drawings & associated database.
- Provides complete customer service to all while using experience to prioritize those services.
- Other duties as required by Supervisor & the Manager of Engineering.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in drafting.
- In lieu of a degree, high school diploma with equivalent work experience in the field.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
