Principal Systems Engineer, IT Infrastructure
Description
As a member of the IT Go To User North America team, the Local Infrastructure Manager is end to end accountable for all Infrastructure Processes and Services, at the defined locations associated with the St. Joseph sites. This function is also required to actively support these activities in the region. This includes, and is not limited to, responsibilities over compliance, information protection and reliability of all Infrastructure (INF) Services. The Local Infrastructure Manager will act as the INF Business Parter for all INF topic, actively managing and following up on Business Demands for all INF related topics, in alignment to the respective global function. The Local Infrastructure Manager requires a strong working relationship with business stakeholders. The Local Infrastructure Manager must understand & promote all INF solutions and Services, as well as to observe how the business is working and identify needs/pain points.

Role is located in our St. Joseph, MO office
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as point of contact for Infrastructure supporting the Head of GTU
- Operational Execution of global standards in the assigned countries/locations
- Provide Audit support / remediation as it pertains to IT INF at accountable OPUs
- Implement technology migration according to the IT INF roadmap
- Provide local INF indispensable systems support
- Act as the Infrastructure Business Partner for the local Business and end user community
Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field with 7 years experience; or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field with 5 years of experience; or a Master in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of a minimum of 7 years.
- At least 2-4 years of IT experience
- Must have a track record in implementing technologies in a global environment
- Must have an excellent understanding of building and operating IT systems and services
- Possess a strong customer focus, vendor management and negotiation skills
- Experience with Business Partnering and Demand Management
