Sr Systems Engineer - Conferencing Technologies
Description
As a Senior System Engineer - Conferencing Technologies, you are working in a globally operating team within IT Infrastructure - Unified Communication and Collaboration. Based on your innovation-savvy and global mindset, you are a responsible Project Manager for the design, implementation and delivery of system and standards that support a harmonized and consolidated Conferencing Service at BI.

This position offers a base salary typically between $75,000 and $105,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements. For an overview of our benefits please click here.
Duties & Responsibilities

In your new role, you serve as expert for conferencing systems and/or solutions, developing and implementing conferencing room technology standards and services to be used at global level across all BI OPU.

You are responsible for Project Management part of full designed technical architecture, implementation and delivery of standard and custom conferencing room technologies as well as building projects across multiple BI OPU´s for the development of new communication platforms and disruptive technical solutions.

As expert of Conferencing Services, you collaborate with main stakeholder/departments, such as GFE, to deliver Projects´ budgets, cost estimates, solution design and implementation.

Furthermore, you support internal customers and VIP clients by providing maintenance, optimization, innovation, and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned conferencing solutions.

You understand the BI framework and determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required, in line with compliance rules and SOP.

Finally, you drive innovation by spotting and testing of new technologies, services, and/or processes to provide BI with a competitive advantage in terms of efficient remote working and collaborating.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Requirements

Associate degree in Computer Science or MIS with a minimum of 4 years experience; or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or MIS, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or a Master degree in Computer Science, MIS, with minimum 1 year of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of 4 years.

Experience in conferencing technology and / or related services

Extensive knowledge of implementing and designing conferencing technologies and devices (e.g. video-/conferencing, collaboration technologies, telepresence, content sharing, room booking, audio and visual (AV) devices and webconferencing tools like MSTeams) are essential.

Experience of standard supports procedures (3rd level support, i.e. engineering), working with tickets and in respect of SLA and escalation procedures.

Project Management capability and ability to take over system lead accountabilities

Familiarity with user-centricity concept and developing end-user-friendly solutions

Demonstrate effective and professional communication (written and verbal); ability to explain technologies functionalities to both IT and non-IT end users
Onsite/Flex*: This position is site based with flexibility for remote working. Working onsite a minimum of 3-4 days per week is required.
